"Lead From the Front"
Sigma Psi Zeta is a multicultural Greek organization that was founded in 1994 and incorporated in 1996 at the University at Albany. SYZ is one of the largest and most distinguished sororities and is the first Asian-interest Greek-lettered sorority to be established on the East Coast.
SYZ provides a platform to speak, a road to success, and endless support for womxn, particularly womxn of color. SYZ promotes the awareness of the Asian/Asian-American cultures and heritages through leadership, community outreach, individual syzter's efforts, and the bonds of sisterhood. Sigma Psi Zeta is a cultural, social, educational, and community service-oriented sorority.
Currently, Sigma Psi Zeta has chapters at roughly thirty college campuses from coast to coast, and the sisterhood is growing each year.

Goal
To best demonstrate SYZterhood and allegiance by merging all efforts and interests, to provide an invaluable experience for the SYZters, and services to the local communities and community at large.
